Medisure Limited is a privately owned and operated medical distribution company with office and warehouse located in Silverdale (20 minutes north of Auckland City).

As the sole “licensed” NZ Importer and Distributor of Katsan Surgical Sutures, our focus is to meet the demands and needs of medical professionals and associated businesses located throughout New Zealand.

Whilst Medisure may be new to the medical market, the people behind the company are not.  We've been distributing Olympus Voice Products (think digital dictation solutions and Smartphone Apps) for over 32 years.

We believe we are well suited to manage and grow the Katsan brand in New Zealand and very much look forward to working with our new customers.

About KATSAN

Established in 1976, Katsan has been manufacturing surgical sutures for more than 42 years. With over 40 distributors to more than 25 countries and counting, Katsan provides over 5,000 types of sutures to meet the demands of medical professionals worldwide.

All Katsan products are manufactured in ISO Class 8 Cleanroom standards which are controlled according to CE and ISO 13485 regulations. Manufacturing is always human orientated and environmentally friendly with biological, chemical and physical conditions under constant control.  Katsan maintains its production activities under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and in accordance with GMP rules. Raw material and other inputs are stored according to international standards, and assembly and packaging are performed in accordance with these standards.

Suture Packaging

Katsan surgical sutures are packaged to ensure sterility is maintained until time of use. Each suture is supplied in a sealed and sterilized aluminum package labeled with information about the enclose suture; CE marked and barcoded.
